Charity Bazaar | West & South Campus
At Ichthus School, we believe that serving others is more than just a lesson in the classroom, but it is a way of living out Christ’s love. Every year, our South and West Campuses come together through their charity bazaars, teaching our students that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
At South Campus, the annual White Elephant event was a true celebration of community and generosity. In the weeks leading up to the bazaar, students prepared with passion and excitement, working together to organise stalls, create activities, and bring their ideas to life. Teachers and families rallied alongside them, contributing their time, talents, and support to make the event a memorable one. With food stalls, games, and laughter filling the campus, the White Elephant reminded us that giving can be joyful when a community comes together with one heart and purpose.
Over at West Campus, the Ichthus Fair brings classroom learning to life. Inspired by their Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE) lessons, students explore the importance of community, social responsibility, and helping those around them. In the first half of the event, students become young entrepreneurs, selling goods, food, and games. Later, the fair transforms into an opportunity to support members of the community facing difficulties, with daily necessities offered to those in need right on school grounds.
The funds raised from both events are channeled towards charity. More than fundraising, these bazaars nurture compassionate hearts, servant leadership, and a willingness to care for others. Through these simple acts of service, our students learn that sharing God’s blessings is one of the most meaningful ways to shine His light. Let’s take a look at the wonderful charity through the gallery!
