Pekan Bahasa and Independence Day Celebration | West Campus
This year, we are celebrating 81 years of Independence of our dear country, Indonesia! With the official theme: “Indonesia Berdaulat, Adil, dan Makmur”, the entire campus expressed joy and gratitude for our hard-earned independence, prayed for bountiful blessings upon our nation, and celebrated our beautiful heritage together in harmony with friends and family.
With this spirit, the West Campus celebrated Pekan Bahasa to showcase Bahasa Indonesia in conjunction to our Independence Day celebration as the country’s national language! Various subjects collaborated seamlessly to make learning come into action, contributing creativity, ideas, and skills into every project made in class. This meaningful collaboration helped to not only help students learn with enthusiasm, but to build teamwork and school spirit as our games are also tied to the House matches!
This brings us to the heart of the event, the Independence Day Celebration! The day was filled with games galore, from traditional ones to innovative spins on the traditional games to make the games more challenging and all the more memorable! The Primary and Secondary school students were clad in their representative House colours, all fighting for the honour and glory of their groups across all the games. What a joyful and wonderful celebration!
